Article 82

1. Magister JFT applies a no-show policy, intended to prevent participants from canceling activities too late or not showing up as much as possible. This article applies to members and other participants to association activities.

2. If a participant no longer wishes to participate in an activity of Magister JFT or one of the Chambers, this member must notify the organizer of the activity in writing, no later than 48 hours before the start of the activity concerned.

3. If a member who signed up for an activity cancels for the activity within 48 hours before the start of an activity or does not show up, this member will be blacklisted. Blacklisted members cannot participate in association activities. By paying a fine of 10.00 euros, a member can buy itself off the blacklist and thus participate in association activities again.

4. If a payment has been made by a member or participant to participate in an association activity, this amount will not be refunded if this member cancels within 48 hours or does not show up. This member will not be blacklisted.

5. If a member or participant has registered for one of the activities during the Legal Business Days Tilburg or an office visit and cancels within 48 hours before the start or does not show up, this participant will be blacklisted. This participant has to pay a fine of 30.00 euros to get itself off the blacklist.

6. Fine payments are made to the Treasurer of Magister JFT. The Treasurer then ensures that the fine is transferred to a Chamber Board if that Chamber is the organizer of the association activity concerned.

7. The no show policy applies to all formal association activities. The Board may deviate from this. The Daily Board or Chamber Boards can decide whether the policy applies to an informal activity.

8. The blacklist is controlled by the General Board. In the case of force majeure as a result of which a member does not show up, the Daily Board or Chamber Board can decide that a member will not be blacklisted or will not have to pay a fine.
