History

Vrijspraak has been established in 1990 as the student party for student participation at Tilburg Law School. The founders wanted to create a place where students can ‘speak freely’, so where they can give their true opinion. That is where the name Vrijspraak comes from. Vrijspraak is established with the goal to create more cooperation between the Faculty Council and the Program Committees, so they could increase their influence together.

When Magister JFT was established, Vrijspraak became a part of Magister JFT. Since then the official name is Vrijspraak, student party of Magister JFT. The chairman of Vrijspraak is a member of the general board of Magister JFT. However, Vrijspraak still represents all students of Tilburg Law School.
