There are two student advisors within Tilburg Law School. A student advisor fulfils this position for two years. During the first year the student advisor is a member of the education board and during the second year of the faculty board. The education board is an advisory organ concerning education policy and consists of the student advisor, the vice dean education and the head of education of Tilburg Law School. The faculty board is responsible for policy making and anything related to that and consists of the student advisor, the vice dean education, the vice dean research, the dean and the head of Tilburg Law School. The student advisor is responsible for advising the education board or the faculty board on behalf of the students. One of the main tasks of the student advisor is therefor being the link between students and the boards. That is why the student advisors also join the meetings of the Program Committees and the Faculty Council. The student advisors also join the Open Party Meetings of Vrijspraak. In the OPM they can share announcements of the board or ask students for input.
